New Information

Save your files!

Students, please be sure to save any files currently on your H drive that you may need next year. Juniors should certainly save any files relating to their culminating project. Use a floppy disk, CD, flash drive or other portable storage device. Bellingham School District will delete all student H drives next week.

Clearance for Summer/Fall Sports

Attention All Athletes: Get your paperwork in for all fall sports! Eligibility Packets are in the Activities Office and you need to have it complete to participate in ANY sports this summer. Football, Girls Soccer, All Basketball, Tennis, Cross Country, Swimming and Volleyball groups are meeting up this summer, so get organized and get your paperwork done NOW!

Yearbooks

If you pre-bought a yearbook, please pick it up ASAP in the ASB Office. If you did not yet purchase one, they are still available for $55. There are a limited number, so buy yours as soon as possible.

The Gambia Project

The Gambia Project sends school supplies to students in Gambia. Please donate your left over notebooks, loose leaf paper, pens, pencils, markers and any other useful supplies. Thank you for supporting children in Africa.

Library Books

Freshman, Sophmores and Juniors: all library books were due back June 4th.

AP Biology

Taking AP Biology next year?? We will be having a brief meeting today, in order to issue some materials and discuss your summer assignment. Hopefully, you will be able to find out what periods the class is offered and obtain answers to other questions you might have. Please attend either the 7:15 morning meeting or the 2:15 afternoon meeting in Room 134. Fire up!

AP U.S. History

Students who are signed up for AP U.S. History for next year may go to the library over the next few days to check out textbooks.

AP Physics

Please pick up an "AP Physics Summer Homework" handout from either Mr. Toney's room or Mr Evans room. You also need to get an AP Physics textbook by Ginacoli from the Library. Have a good summer.

Open Gym

Open Gym is being offered on Mondays and Thursdays starting this week. It will be from 6:30-8:30 in the gym and a schedule will be posted on the website.

After-school Weight Program

"F-Squared"! (after-school weight program), is open to anyone looking for a solid work out, at 2:35 in the weight room. The Program will run through the last week in May every Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri. See KJ in room 102 for details.

Internet and Email Access

NEW TO SEHOME? If you are new to Sehome, you will need to come to the library RIGHT AFTER first period any block schedule Tuesday in order to activate your Internet and email access.

"Human Race"

Attention clubs and advisors. Would you like to raise some money for your club? The Whatcom Volunteer is putting on the annual Human Race on Saturday, June 14th. This is a 5K walk or run that helps raise money for nonprofit organizations. Come to the Career Center to get a registration form. Don't miss out on this great opportunity!

"Build Your Future"

"Build Your Future" Summer Youth Experience in Construction and Healthcare - the vacancies are rapidly filling. This is a hands on experience in health care and construction and is a less than one week commitment for either and is absolutely free! Applications are available in the Career Center.

Tech Prep Programs

There are still spaces available in two of the Whatcom Tech Prep programs. If you are interested in the Video Game Design program or the Construction Careers Academy, come by the Career Center for more information. This is a great opportunity for next year that you don't want to miss!

Rader Farms have an excellent training program, which helps with future jobs. Evergreen Boys State and Girls State is a weeklong seminar that takes place in June 2008 at Central Washington University. The program offers a great opportunity to learn more about how our government works. If you would like more information about this opportunity please see Mrs. Zender in the Career Center.
